Project Overview

In this project, we set out to explore solutions for patient education—specifically for individuals newly diagnosed with breast cancer. The goal was to design an iOS application that serves as a clear, supportive roadmap to help patients make informed decisions about their care. My focus was on creating a user-friendly, intuitive interface that guides users through a potentially overwhelming and complex process with ease and confidence.

My Role

Position: Lead UX/UI Designer
Responsibilities:

• Conducted competitive analysis

• Developed the sitemap and user flow

• Created user personas and app identity

• Designed high-fidelity mockups, UI assets, and templates

• Built interactive prototypes using InVision

• Led usability testing to refine and validate the experience

I was responsible for 0-1 process of design and defining the app’s user experience direction, designing in Sketch and Figma, and iterating based on real user feedback.
