However, I would be happy to discuss my overall experience and the skills I've developed as a
Senior Designer while working on exciting AI design projects with Google from 2022 to 2024.
What is the objective and movement of the Android input team?


My Projects summery:
During my time as a Senior Designer at Google, I had the opportunity to collaborate on AI features for Android, where I played a pivotal role in driving innovation and enhancing the user experience.
I was instrumental in advancing Android 14 towards key milestones, reflecting my leadership and expertise in the tech industry in 2022-2024.
My contributions included developing and implementing creative, user-centric solutions for both phone and Wear OS platforms.
For these Google projects, I primarily used Figma for fluent experience, to create wireframes, high-quality mockups, and prototypes in Figma.
Some of the projects I worked on as a Senior Designer with the Android input team included:

Led the Figma prototyping and GHST Carbon updates, enhancing component usability, accessibility, and responsiveness.

Optimized the Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) by refining device setup, pairing flows, and onboarding interactions.

Collaborated with engineers and product teams to document and publish Material Design 3 updates for scalable design system improvements.



My other responsibilities also included:

Enhanced the Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) by designing intuitive onboarding flows with QR code pairing, home setup, and device connectivity.

Created dark and light mode UI states, improving accessibility and readability for users across various environments.

Documented Material Design 3 updates and worked closely with cross-functional teams to refine component behaviors.

Conclusion
What I learned:
At Google, as a Senior Designer working on AI features for Android products, I played a key role in Google Home’s BC25 update, designing adaptive UI components to ensure a seamless experience across Pixel, Foldable, and tablet devices. I led Figma prototyping and GHST Carbon updates, improving component usability, accessibility, and responsiveness while optimizing the Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) by refining device setup, pairing flows, and onboarding interactions.
Through this project, I honed my ability to integrate AI into UX, ensuring AI-driven features enhance usability without adding complexity. I worked closely with engineers, PMs, and researchers, embracing rapid prototyping and iterative design to align AI solutions with user needs. Prioritizing privacy, accessibility, and global inclusivity, I ensured AI-powered features were intuitive, unbiased, and privacy-conscious. Staying ahead of AI advancements, I learned to balance cutting-edge innovation with usability, designing experiences that feel seamless and value-driven rather than overwhelming.
